This movie is a gem for two reasons. One, it had popularised the traditional dance forms of India in the telugu speaking land. Two, it is an excellent portrayal of complex emotions like Love, friendship, teacher-student relationship, and above all devotion to art.
When I saw this movie at age of 10, i thought it was boring. Very recently at age of 23 i watched this movie again, and was bowled over by the way Balu and Madhavi are portrayed in the movie. The love and affection between the characters is divine in nature. A must see for all.

Classic Piece of work,
After the Success of "Anand". I was really waiting to see the next flick of Shekar Kammula, as I wanted to know if he can deliver yet another Master Piece. He did it again and kudos to this great talent. I am a big fan of the Director Viswanath for his caliber to make soft but highly influential movies. I was wondering if that genre is over and there is no upcoming director who can fill that slot. But I am wrong. As the saying goes "History repeats itself".
Characterization is the main asset of this movie. We feel that we are acquainted with the characters of the film from a very long time. The touch of reality given by the director w.r.t the inclination of the hero to join mainstream politics to do something for the society and the problems he faced to do that is excellent. The whole film is lively with some good comedy and great music. One can just relax and watch the movie.
There are some popular(so called) directors who say its impossible to make a hit movie without making the heroin to strip or hero fighting with goons by flying in air for half of the movie. Movies like this prove that its their inability to make such movies rather than the impossibility.

A healthy family film, with loads of comedy.
Leaving the story aside, everything else about the movie is good. As usual Chiranjeevi and Soundarya are at their best and the chemistry between them takes off from where it ends in "Choodalani Vundi". The songs too are good and picturized well. The story lacks punch as there is nothing new to offer. In all, its a good film especially for the Megastar's fans.

This movie can be considered as "Old Wine in New Bottle". This is the first hit movie of Telugu industry in 2006 and the biggest hit in Venkatesh's career.
The story of this movie is one of those popular brother/family flicks where brothers are good at the start, hate each other in between and unite towards the end. The movie is watchable for pass time. Venkatesh justified his role as the eldest brother. He is always great in any role he does. The sentiment part of the movie is okay and will appeal to female audiences. The songs in this movie are outstanding. The music makes them excellent. Charmee looked very very glamorous. Nayantara was okay. Comedy is alright. Overall, a watchable movie for passing time.

This is one of the best movies of 2007. The film has everything, comedy, sentiment, emotions, great music, great star cast. The basic story line of the film reminds us of Bollywood flick DDLJ but is no way similar to it.
Performance wise, Venkatesh was "Great" as he has 'always been'. His comedy timing in the movie is "Terrific" and he made us laugh all the way. He was emotionally "Awesome" in the scene when his father dies and in the scene when he makes the old woman normal. Trisha was very good in the movie. This is one of those movies where she wasn't used only for the purpose of glamor. Her role was good and she did a great job. Kota Sreenivas Rao as Venkatesh's father was "Brilliant" and the scenes between them both are "Superb". Sriram, Sunil, Jeeva and K.Vishwanath did decent roles.
Technically, music by Yuvan Shankar Raja was great. All songs are very good and the background music was great. Camera work by Balamurugan was very good. He captured a few shots brilliantly (like the rain scene a few seconds before the first song). Story and Direction by Selva Raghavan (Sri Raghava) was good and he succeeds.
Overall, a refreshing movie that is definitely worth a watch and it got all the ingredients to be a BLOCKBUSTER
